House 1 - Review Of The 2007 Water Survey Results

2009 Survey 2007 Survey 2005 Survey
2009 Survey Notes 2007 Survey Notes 2005 Survey Notes

A number of points come across from this survey:

1. The majority of the items identified in the 2005 survey have been implemented leading to a significant reduction in water use - outstanding items are shown as orange on the 2005 survey.results.
2. The is not a lot of scope for further savings without carrying out more major work/investment e.g. utilising grey water, increasing rainwater storage and fitting a pressure reduction valve to the main water feed into the house.
3. This review should be repeated after another 12 to 18 months.
4. A simple monitoring program is needed to make sure leaks don't go unnoticed.
5. SInce the original survey was done we have gained a utility room which has a sink and washing machine (new since the survey). There is now a dishwasher in the kitchen.
