Cylindrical Tank Capacity
The table below is for a 1.1 metre (555mm radius) depth cylindrical tank with flat ends with a nominal capacity of 300 gallons and shows oil in litres and gallons for various depths. You can use this table for other capacity cylindrical tanks by multiplying the litres or gallons at each depth by the tank capacity in gallons divided by 300 (capacity in litres divided by 1367). Remember cylindrical tanks normally have a neck which could hold up to another 20 litres over and above the nominal capacity,
