| Since moving in we have implemented most of the simple
tips to save electricity and changed most of the light bulbs to low energy ones plus sorted out a few standby problems.. This graph is relative to use between November 2009 and January 2010 during which we implemented quite a few changes so the savings will be nowhere as dramatic as house 1. Electricity use will be higher in the
winter mainly because of increased use of lights and the
central heating. The short term variations are caused the number of people in the house at any one time. The graph below shows how electricity use has varied
over the last few months. |

electricity saved by comparing electricity use between November 2009 and January 2010. Over the next few months we will be looking for further savings of around 10%. |
